This episode opens up with Jeanie Boulet taking Dr. Anspaugh’s son rock climbing since he finished his chemo therapy treatments. He falls and gets tired after jus a little climbing and is brought back into the hospital for some tests.
A second major part is that Dr. Morgenstern returns to the ER after being off for a while after a heart attack. This return people may think have been too soon because in trauma situations at two separate times he has frozen and not been able to finish certain procedures.
The next part of the episode is Dr. Romano offering Dr. Corday a position of coordinator of a hemo-aid study in the O.R. This offer is very conflicting to Dr. Corday after just receiving a mediocre review on her work. This makes Dr. Corday very confused.
Dr. Anspaugh’s son finds out that the cancer is back and is now in the bone marrow. This new is very saddening and even more upsetting because he had just finished treatments and felt like it was all behind him.
My favorite part of this episode was a small comedic part in the beginning when Dr. Benton’s son dumps his food on his head with Dr. Greene and Dr. Ross present which made it funnier them joking around about it.
In the end Dr. Morgenstern begins to get back into the swing of things down in the ER it must have just taken a few procedures to get the kinks out.
I rate this episode a 4 because for the most part it was a good episode at points it dragged but overall a great episode.
